PR Heaven

Recommended Posts

So, this past 6 weeks was all about improving my total.  And I did.

New PRs

Squat - 265 (35# PR)

Deadlift - 345 (60# PR)

New Total

S: 265; B: 170; D: 345 = 780# (95 increase to total)

Now it is time to get that bench going.

Grats! Getting that bench to catch up to the squat and deads can be a bitch, good luck!

Any advice or ideas would be appreciated, Corey.

I'm still struggling with it myself (my lifts are red in my sig). I had some success on Bill Starr's 5x5 which is low volume, high intensity, but it really beat me up after awhile. I'm trying Texas Method now and Smolov Jr. in the next few months, so we'll see how those work out. Like jediokie said, gotta find what works for you.
