Grifball
Ahhhh. This is my first pistol with this feature (my CZ had a decocker, so it was full DA with a standard trigger). That bit about the trigger safety helps explain the half-marathon you have to run to get to the trigger break. 1 Quote 5'11'' Male SW: 251 | CW: 199 | GW: 175 Battle Log: Grifball's Freelancer Training "I WILL EAT YOUR UNHAPPINESS." - Michael J. Robpocalypse
I had an FN-9 that was DA/SA with a manual safety. Sounds like a neat idea, but in the FN the manual safety also operates as a decocker and if you sweep it too fast, you decock the pistol dropping it into DA.. which sort of defeats the purpose of having a manual safety for single action. Grifball
Hm...I'd much rather just have the decocker I think, but if I have to have a manual safety, I definitely don't want it to also be the decocker. DA first pull, SA subsequent pulls and decocker for holstering. Some people have problems adjusting to different trigger pulls but practice usually solves that. 1 Quote Link to comment
Grifball
Sigs are nice and simple and bloody expensive. If I ever buy a Sig, it'll be after another 2 or 3 promotions are raises. I'm very much on the budget side of things with the exception of my Savage Model 10 that pulls double duty as a long-range capable .308 and bolt-action hunting rifle. 2 Quote 5'11'' Male SW: 251 | CW: 199 | GW: 175 Battle Log: Grifball's Freelancer Training "I WILL EAT YOUR UNHAPPINESS." - Michael J. Grifball
Fantastic! I was just out in CO for a job interview and the idea of living there and being able to hunt there was extremely attractive. 1 Quote 5'11'' Male SW: 251 | CW: 199 | GW: 175 Battle Log: Grifball's Freelancer Training "I WILL EAT YOUR UNHAPPINESS." - Michael J.
