dadmuscles
Hello fellow Rebels, I'm finally making the jump from lurkerdom. I'm a former collegiate baseball player who has become way too soft for my liking. My wake up call came just the other day when I got winded building a fort with my 2-year old son. Not an outdoor fort with felled trees and branches, mind you... just a simple indoor fort with couch cushions. I'm 5' 10", 220 lbs, 42" waist (measured around the belly button). I eat like I'm trying to become diabetic. I work out about as often as Mariano Rivera blows a save. Parts of me sag when I'm still and jiggle when I'm in motion that shouldn't. This all needs to change (except for my height, that would be a tough one), and I'm grateful this community is here for guidance and support. Let's do this. --Andy Quote know the way you want your life to go and make it happenwww.dadmuscles.com Link to comment
aikijits
Welcome to NF! and greetings from the other coast. Sadly, the Sandman has called it a career. I look forward to seeing your goals and progress. I dropped 30 lbs in 4 months just with diet alone (roughly 80% Paleo). You can do this!! -AJ Quote Link to comment
FutureMarine91
Welcome! Paleo has helped so far, and it'll help you too. Best of luck! Quote "And god said, 'let there be Marines' and the devil ran in fear".... Link to comment
avis.wendorf
Helloo there. I have to say that I can totally relate! I'm usually completely worn out after only an hour of keeping up with my 2.5 year old.I definitely agree that cleaning up diet is a great start! I lost most of my weight through diet changes alone then added in physical activity after I got closer to where I wanted to be.I'm really glad to see a fellow 'new(ish)' parent here! Good luck Quote Link to comment
