Throughout November, exercise was not a priority and I missed a few days. This month, I made it a priority, and I have worked out every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday so far, in addition eating strictly Paleo.Today, I warmed up: (no jump rope: I don't have a good place to do that right now)2-3 minutes of jump rope (who cares if you mess up, push yourself!)50 jumping jacks (pull your shoulder blades back, extend arms and really focus on the movement)20 body weight squats5 lunges (each leg)10 hip extensions5 7 hip rotations each leg (like you’re stepping over a fence) (I forgot to stop at 5)10 forward leg swings (each leg)10 side leg swings (each leg)10-20 push ups (scale based on your level of fitness)10 spiderman steps (each leg)Then I worked out: (3 circuits, only about 30 seconds rest between each circuit. No more than a couple seconds resting between sets during the circuits)20 body weight squats10 push ups20 lunges10 dumbbell rows (using two 20lb dumbbells tied together)15 second plank30 Jumping JacksAnd I followed that up with stretching, of course. So, I believe the correct term here is...WOOT! Now I get to get ready and go to work.
