Hi My name is Taddie. I'm new here and looking for help on my fitness journey. I've spent the last 3 years or so in law school focusing on my degree to the detriment of my body (I gained 60 lbs in a single year). Now that I have my JD, I'd like to get back to being a healthy active person, but it's SO DARNED HARD (For example, affordable plus sized workout clothes are a pain and a half to find grrr....). Any help you could provide on my journey would be gratefully received.

My advice would be to develop some healthy habits before studying for the bar. I put on more pounds during that process than during undergrad and law school combined--and I'm still trying to take those pounds off.

Tough to know for sure, because I wasn't inclined to step on a scale back then, but probably 30 pounds or so. And 30 more pounds since passing the thing, so I need to take off 60 pounds to get back to my school weight.

Good luck to you in your quest, and also on the test!
