Cracked the 180 pound glass ceiling ( flooring ?)

Recommended Posts

Hey folks

After about 10 days of starting a new routine, I'm finally below 180 pounds weight.

Wohoooooooo !!!!!

I was 186 pounds on Jan 2nd, and 178.8 on Jan12. This feels great and it calls for a celebration right?

My 6 weeks challenge is to lose 15 pounds overall while maintaining muscle.

The first few pounds came off easily. The last few days required more patience... I hope to keep the momentum going - I'm pumped!!

If you managed to maintain muscle with such fast weight loss in just 10 days then it is a miracle.

This looks like you were on extreme calorie deficit and starving your organism, such fast loss doesn't seem healthy.

Did you track your protein intake during those 10 days?

Don't want to spoil your celebration, sorry.

Congratulations on the loss anyway, it surely took some effort and discipline.

Thanks for the feedback Recruit.

Well.. I haven't been starving myself, though I've tried to cut out carbs and sugar as much as possible ( except for the oats that I have for breakfast ).

As for protein, every meal I make sure to eat either tofu or egg whites ( around 30% of the meal ). I haven't been using any supplements.

I'm eating a loads of fruits and veggies.

But I get your point, I'll certainly have a second look at my diet to ensure I'm getting all the nutrients I need.
