cherrybear
I'm a runner (even though I am not built like one). I'm a active person. I'm struggling right now because I am those things. Not doing my active things is a bit depressing. First we were afraid to lose baby so I cut out a lot of activity. Then when baby came my hips separated ( he was BIG). Causing pain and instability so I can't run. i'm afraid I will never run again. I coach my other daughters soccer and I am afraid I will have to quit that.I'm ready to help my body go. Basement Cat
Welcome to the rebellion, Cherrybear. I'm sorry to hear about your condition. But don't give up and find an activity that you can do and enjoy, and stick to that! Congratulations on the baby boy, even if it was a difficult birth! (I'm assuming it was a boy? you said "he") Good luck with your goals and keep us posted! Delerey09
My little guy is a year now and we had a very tough labor and delivery that ended in a c-section. The best advice I can give you is be kind and gentle to yourself. It might be some time before you feel like "you" again but that's ok! Take it slow and easy and remember that this is all just temporary. Quote Link to comment
