ORazor
Nine weeks ago, I started stronglifts. You can find the first 3-4 week of my daily battle log here, and the last 5-6 weeks in my challenge log here. My goal is to get strong, and gain mass. My starting weight was 160 lbs. I'm now 168, with a sensible mix of fat and muscle gain. Today, I squatted 5X5 at 160 lbs, which by coincidence was my body weight when I started. Nine weeks ago, my legs were in such bad shape that they would cramp after doing 5X5 with just the bar (45 lbs). Today, I over head pressed 3X5 at 100 lbs, which is a milestone as I'm now over 100 pounds. Today, I deadlifted 1X5 at 205 lbs, which is a milestone, as I'm now over 200 pounds. Both squats and deadlifts satisfied my 6 week challenge goals. I have 4 days to do 1X5 at 105 for overhead press to meet that goal. Personally, I've noticed zero change in my body. But something must have happened, because there's no way I could move weights like that 9 weeks ago. So, yeah, woot woot! 1 Quote All men are frauds. Oramac
Wow!! Congrats man! I have to admit to being a little jealous. My goals were similar to yours, and I didn't even come close to some of them. Way to go! ORazor
SJ - I supplemented my diet with a quart of milk a day, which was super easy and cheap.I'm convinced that without that I would have stalled much earlier. Thanks everyone!
