Binerexis 1.01 Patch Notes

[Binerexis]

The following changes have been made to the post-release version of Binerexis:

 

• Improved health by a factor of 20%
  • Increased the drop rate of Essential Medication
  • The Hospitalisation debuff now has a highly increased cooldown and can no longer stack with itself
  • Depression debuff and the subsequent Despair status condition have been change to be less frequent and with a shorter active effect (We know that this glitch was affecting a lot of you and that this isn't an ultimate removal/fix but this is just one of those things that ends up as a feature)
  • Completely re-worked the Energy Resource System:
    • Binerexis will now get up earlier so more tasks can be done in the day
    • Fixed a bug where Binerexis would sometimes not eat breakfast
    • Binerexis will now drink coffee
    • Binerexis now drinks more water throughout the day

 

• Motivation buff can now activate independently and is 5% more effective. This new mechanic is still in its infancy so expect many changes in the future. 

 

Known Issues:    

 

• Overall strength and effectiveness of Binerexis still isn't up to scratch
  • Many of you will have noticed that with the old versions of Hospitalisation, Depression and Despair have left Binerexis with stats of -1. The buffs noted above have achieved the following new base stats:
    • Strength: 1
    • Dexterity: 0
    • Constitution: 2
    • Intelligence: 2
    • Wisdom: 4
  • Charisma doesn't seem to progress past -1 in the current build. We're working on it.
• Tasks/Spells that cross the Mental/Physical divide still take a little 'coercion'
  • A bug in the latest hotfix led to Binerexis smoking more than usual but that's been fixed in this build. We've subsequently turned this bug into a feature by adding the Cut 'em Down! minigame.
  • Motivation still seems to be an issue but the slight buff given to Self-Discipline should help to mitigate that.
• The Write New Article and Make YouTube Video options currently do not function. We're working to fix this as soon as possible.

That is truly awesome and creative!

However, we know Binerexis is not a real game dev, as the word "bug" would be replaced with "unintended feature", and player-complaints would be answered with "feature is working as-intended".

Fix those minor things and ya have a shot with an MMO studio for sure! :-) lol
