Joeawesome Posted February 27, 2014 Report Share Posted February 27, 2014 The fatty has some speed!!One of my goals for this challenge is to decrease my mile time to 8 min, but more over, increase my running speed to 7.5 mph, a respectable running speed. I am well on my way. It has been a long process, slowly whittling away at the time and building the pace up, one mile at a time. When I started I could barley keep a 5.5 mph pace, This morning I ran a 7.2 mph pace. ChristArtist Posted March 8, 2014 Report Share Posted March 8, 2014 I am not allowed to run - but I increase distance, then speed then distance then speed....walking...whichever my knee allows me to do.the increasing the distance will take endurance....you may lose speed when you increase the distance...don't be discouraged. BTW - just because I am not allowed to run, does not mean that I don't have a runners heart!
