DuckFan83
I'm not even 5 weeks into my weigh loss mission (f*ck journeys... they sounds so helpless and passive), and I am down 16 lbs from my heaviest. I have until Monday until my offical 5 week mark. I still have a ways to go until I hit my original goal range (around 40 to 45 pounds to go), but this is a great start and is motivating. 4 Quote "It's never to late to be what you might have been" Link to comment

I am a numbers guy, but for some reason I hadn't thought to calculate this percentage. Quote "It's never to late to be what you might have been" Link to comment
Silo
Numbers person here too. Sometimes it's the best way to get through a rough run ("1.37 miles so far, that's almost 1.5 so almost 50%. If my whole run was up the side of a hill and back down I'd almost be to the top and then it is all downhill from there. I can do this.") Quote 2016 goals: Hit goal weight. Salivanth
I never thought of it before, but you're right! Mission sounds way more proactive and awesome than journey. Journey just kinda sounds like you're trailing along for the ride; mission implies active involvement and focused effort. I'm going to start using "mission" instead of "journey" from now on!Also, congrats Quote Link to comment
Jessikuh
That's incredible! Keep it up. God, I want to hug I'm not even 5 weeks into my weigh loss mission (f*ck journeys... they sounds so helpless and passive) God, I want to hug you for this. My mom keeps calling me losing weight 'my weight loss journey' and I can't explain to her why that phrase just pushes some type of weird button for me, but I hate it. I totally agree with you.
