Shae
Hi everyone ! I'm a 20 years old woman from France. I'm not really new to fitness since i already work out pretty regularly but i'm not very consistent in my training. On my best weeks i exercise every day, but as soon as i get a bit busy with college, i can easily go 2 weeks without exercising.I'm looking to build a regular fitness routine, to track my progress, and clean up my diet (i'm a bread and pasta lover).I'm not really sure which guild i should join, i've been trying various fitness disciplines for the past years such as yoga, pilates, running, kickboxing, circuit training (with workout dvds) and indoor climbing. Generally speaking, i don't like to use a lot of equipment when i work out and would like to lose body fat and build strength and flexiblity, that's why i'm considering joining the Assassins and starting a bodyweight training program. I'm not quite sure yet..Aside from fitness, i also enjoy music (i'm learning the ukulele), reading and painting, i watch a bit too much tv shows and my general life goal is to travel as much as possible.I'm glad i found NF because i think it makes goal-setting and self improvement 10x more interesting and fun. Hopefully i'll be able to create lasting healthy habits, and i look forward to hear from you and to see your progress too! Chris-Tien Jinn
Shae, for your first challenge, you start as a Level 1 Rebel. Think of it as the tutorial level of a computer or video game. That gives you 6 weeks to get used to NF's way of doing things and think about the best guild for you. Ambassadors from each guild stop by to encourage and answer questions there - so you'll get lots of help in figuring out what YOU want to do. The assassins are a great bunch. I am over there for some challenges in order to work on body weight and agility-focused workouts. And they embrace a LOT of different types of workouts .... dance, hula hooping, kettle bells, etc. If you like variety, you may also consider the adventurers guild - anything goes there, and they like to explore options and learn new things. If you ever have a question, go ahead and message me using the envelope at the upper right of the screen!! Quote Level 63 Human ...
