Serpymatt
Last time I went to the gym (Thursday), I squated 285 and knew I would hit 300 soon - that's a current goal of mine because I wanted to be able to squat my current weight. Well, I hit 275, threw on a little more. Five reps of 295 went good. Added a couple small plates - five reps of 305 felt great! Put on a couple more small plates and BAM! Five reps of 315! I could not believe it! I've only been back in the gym since the end of June and before that, it had been a few years. So glad I've started lifting weights... now hopefully I can start dropping weight Quote Facebook -- Fitocracy Link to comment
RDOwens
Congratulations! It's nice when we set new PRs. Great for motivation and the ego is fed a bit too. Woot! Quote Turned Leaf | Life List | A Nerd's Eye View Link to comment

smurray
Great job. I know when I have had an extensive absence from the weight room, it was so hard for me to get back in. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing you break more personal records.
