I just ran my first under 10 minute mile!

I needed to squeeze in a work out tonight and I thought it would be a good idea to do some interval runs to help with improving my pace. My 1 mile route in the neighborhood is a figure eight which gives me three cross streets to increase my speed while returning to my regular pace for the two side streets. I completed a mile in 9 minutes 10 sec! I can't believe my improvements since my first 5K back in June. I had a 12:30 min pace and I just about passed out when I cross the finish line. I am going to have to get the back exercises in tomorrow if I am to complete a pull up anytime soon.

It never hurts to add a little more color to life... a lot more color could be a bit painful.
