Rolled my hit points for the new level (got a 4 on a d6, plus a CON bonus of 2) Will keep the same inventory and spend the 1.000 gp on scrolls. Since Bacon is a Sorcerer, I don't much like the idea of paper, so I'd prefer if we kept the same mechanic but used small disposable trinkets instead. I promise, it'll open up amazing RP opportunities for this character Sounds fine by me. Just remember that you current inventory value is subtracted from the 1000 gold. DarK_RaideR Posted March 21, 2015 Report Share Posted March 21, 2015 Inventory costs a little under 50gp, "scrolls" are worth 575gp and that's about it. No cheap magical items under 1.000 gold that I'd be interested in, no reason to spend all the gold on tons of "scrolls" just because I have it. For now, scrolls are a good and cheap tool for versatility and trying out spells. If something turns out way too useful, it might be one of the spells Bacon learns in the future or he'll spend the gold to buy a wand and spam it P.S. Still no Magic Missile around. Depends on the flavour, I suppose. And I think you guys can all play nice with him if he chooses to play necromancer. Though I will allow bronan to smash the skeletons every so often, or use them as personal shields lol. Also a reminder, if you want to post anything as a kind of ending or segway from this adventure to the next for you character please post them before the next adventure starts. It was pretty much wish fulfillment/power fantasy character. I want to try something different. I spent the dog's walk weighing out a druid with a literal Beat Mode or a female bard (about as far from what I usually do as possible). I decided to go female bard. I'm using this Character Generator and the paizo website to roll this up. I created Elora in this google doc (I'll write a cleaner one later). Elora is a a tall, lean elf. She's heard stories of the band of young adventurers who took on a dragon and won. She wants to join the band so that she can write the great epics that they are sure to generate. Prior to this she was trying to make a career as a traveling bard. As a single woman she faced constant cat calls and unwanted advances and has had to fend off more than a few. She's looking to create a better life by writing great epics and retiring to teach her epics to others. She can be found most nights in a tavern, performing to earn a room and dinner and whatever tips she can earn. When she's performing she wears a long black gown with long sleeves and silver thread in the seams. The gown fits tightly from mid thigh to shoulders and to the elbows but is loose around her lower legs and lower arms. She stands six feet tall and is quite thin. She's not curvy but wouldn't be classified as boyish either. She is primarily known as a singer but does play the mandolin. When traveling she wears a dark grey blouse that fits loosely and ties at the collar. She wears snug, dark trousers and soft traveling boots. She carries a knapsack with a bedroll and travels with a staff as a walking stick. She's a very good shot with a bow and hunts for meat when times are tight. She carries a stiletto in a leather bracer that she wears in her left sleeve. side note, I noticed that the way the character gen writes attributes, the race bonus isn't worked in.
