Been doing the same routine for the past 7 weeks and today I finally touched the mat and held it for the full strech count of 15 seconds. I was ecstatic that I did it. Took 7 weeks. I remember the first time starting out in over a decade I couldn't get past my ankles...it was like lower shins. But today I finally felt the mat under my finger tips.. I am hoping in another 7 weeks I can get to knuckles and maybe back to before when I could palm. All in baby steps you don't want to overstretch and you don't want to bounce.
