Warm Up:

Skipping, stretching, 1x10@11kg Good Mornings, 1x10@BW Squats, more stretching.

Heavy Deadlift:

Had gym buddy come out. I was totally fried, but she is doing awesome. Her Deadlifts are really good, like really good.

Rep Bench Week 1 The Cube (09.03.2016)

Warm Up:

Skipping, stretching, 1x10@Bar Good Mornings, 1x10@BW Squats, more stretching, dynamic stretching, 3x5push ups.

Rep Bench:

1x10@30kg (w.u)

1x10@40kg (w.u)

3x8@47.5kg

Close Grip Bench:

2x6@50kg (fail second set, only managed 4 reps)

Bench with Pause 1" off Chest:

3x10@42.5kg (fail third set, only managed 8 reps)

Laying Overhead Tricep Extension:

3x10@7.5kg (Tricep burn!)

Front/Side Shoulder Raises:

3x10@7.5kg (fuck me, these were hard)

OHP:

3x10@21kg

Bicep Barbell Curl:

3x10@12kg (easy)

Skull Crusher:

3x10@5kg (last set was getting pretty rough........my arms were jelly)

ABS:

Laying Leg Raises:

3x10

Planks:

3x30Sec.

Oh My Gosh! My arms are just jellyfied! Doing those Planks were harder on the arms, than normal.

Went swimming earlier, may not have been my brightest idea! Especially when I was teaching Son6 breaststroke and butterfly. :)

Gonna start this with a language warning!

Week 1 The Cube, Explosive Squat Day! (12.03.2016)

Warm Up:

Skipping, stretching, 1x10@BW, dynamic stretching and more silliness

Explosive Squats:

2x5@51kg (Warm Up)

8x3@68.5kg (the last set was hardly explosive, more like expletive)

Front Squat:

1x5@51kg

2x5@73.5kg (FAIL, never done these at this weight, went done for the first one, start to come back up, got half way then had to dump it, it was fucking hard)

1x5@51kg

Pause Squat @ Parallel:

(3 second pause)

2x8@63.5kg ( first set good, second set WTF! The last three reps were a fucking struggle, form fell away and just.......no)

Good Mornings:

3x10@11kg (meh, I would prefer not to do these)

Lunges:

3x10@28kg (I fucking hate these, only did five per leg to make the 10 per set, because yes I am a wuss x2)

R.D.L:

3x10@41kg (OMG, just fried by now)

Leg Extensions:

3x10@32.5kg (urrrg!)

Leg Curls:

3x10@32.5kg (double urrrg!!!)

Finished up with some stretches, because no ABS work tonight, this little beauty took 1hr 45minutes! So tired by the time I hit the end of the Leg Curls! Just couldn't do it.

One workout tomorrow the bodybuilding bit and Week 1 is done and dusted.

Usual silliness, it was hot tonight, so sweaty jocks straight up!

Explosive Deadlifts:

8x3@78.5kg

Block Pulls:

2" Deficit Deadlift:

Step Ups:

3x10@5kg (Dumbbells, 10 each leg because I am not a wuss with these)

The Cube/Week 2 16.03.2016 Heavy Bench

Warm Up:

The usual, although was pretty warm today, went for a swim today prior to training.

Heavy Bench:

1x5@40kg

1x5@45kg

5x2@53.5kg (this was so surprisingly easy, WTF)

Close Grip Bench:

2x2@58.5kg

Bench with Pause 1" off chest:

2x4@51kg (ok, so smashed it and had to double check the plates, what is going on?)

Laying Overhead Tricep Extension:

4x10@7.5kg

Front/Side Raises:

3x10@5kg

OHP:

1x10@21kg

2x10@31kg

Bicep Curls:

4x10@20kg

Skull Crusher:

4x10@7.5kg

No ABS, the dog decided to lay across my chest as I was getting ready for Laying Leg Raises and would not budge, so we just lay there listening to a little Led Zepplin before promising her dinner and finally getting her off!

This was surprisingly easy am I getting stronger or is it because I just did not want to fail again? I don't know, but really enjoyed Bench tonight, woohoo on my way to being a BenchBro!
