Did get it done yesterday.  Hmm.  Not sure it told me much more than I could tell by sight, though reassuring I suppose that my belly fat is subcutaneous and visceral fat reading good.  Just amazing how much subcutaneous fat I fit in there!!  Reading a lot higher than you'd think from looking at those pictures.

This is what has largely kept me from doing the more expensive forms of bodyfat testing (bodpod). I realized that even with perfect knowledge, I wouldn't change anything.

Week 3, Rep Deadlift 14.09.2016

 

WARM UP:

All sorts of stretching and stuffs going on, then, 1x5@30kg superset RDL and BOR, 1x5@50kg DL, 1x5@70kg DL

 

REP DEADLIFT:

3x8@98.5kg (OMG)

BLOCK PULLS:

2x8@108kg 

2" DEFICIT DL:

2x10@91kg

CHEST SUPPORTED ROWS:

4x14@6kg

STEP UPS:

4x14@10kg (that would be 14 each leg........oh my burning glutes :) )

BULGARIAN SPLIT SQUAT:

4x12@10kg (that would be 6 each leg, because my legs were actually dying right now)

KROC ROWS:

4x16@6kg

SEATED ROWS:

4x14@30kg 

 

ABS:

SIDE BENDS:

4x10@6kg

CABLE MACHINE CRUNCH:

4x10@15kg

 

This was an epic workout, GB who has been absent in the shed for a while came in and wanted to talk, so a lot of time between sets.

Saturday saw a  hybrid workout. 2 in 1, well not going to do that again.

Week3 Heavy Squat/Explosive Bench

 

WARM UP:

Skipping, stretching, trying to get warm, speed squats: 1x10@20kg, 2x5@50kg, 1x5@60kg, working shoulders with bands.

 

HEAVY SQUAT:

5x2@93.5kg (felt really good)

FRONT SQUAT:

2x3@70kg

PAUSE @ PARALLEL:

2x6@88kg (killlllleeeerrrrrrr)

 

EXPLOSIVE BENCH:

8x3@46kg

CLOSE GRIP:

2x5@51kg

BENCH WITH PAUSE 1" OFF CHEST:

3x8@43.5kg (surprisingly a bit easier, used the wide grip and felt in control)

 

SUPER SET:

LEG EXTENSION/LEG CURL

4x14@35kg/4x10@25kg

 

Done. Had to cut it short there, just running out of time, not to mention it was getting really cold again.

Finished my workout there because one of the a Lads came home and I confronted him about the pot smoking, which is going to destroy his bloody chance at working this summer. For fucks sake, all he had to do was stay off the gear until Christmas. So will complete it tomorrow after my in service at the pool.

 

Just feeling tired and defeated tonight.
