Hit a Squat Volume PR yesterday

Recommended Posts

I thought this was an appropriate item to share. My training has been great. I try to program everything based off percentages. I typically treat my program percentages as law, but I felt like "rounding up" yesterday.

I achieved the following PR yesterday:

Squats - 8 sets of 3 at 415 (lbs), the program called for 385

Pause Squats - 2 sets of 5 at 365 (lbs)

Every rep felt smooth and clean, no grinding. I really can't wait to see what the program has in store for me in the weeks to come

That's awesome. I did 9x3 around that I believe back on Smolov a few years back, shit was crazy.
