astronerd
WOOOOOT!!! This weekend I did my first dead-hang pull-up in at least 5 years. It was awesome to get my chin above the bar like that. My 6-week challenge has a "do one pull-up" component, so I can check that one off. Now I can start training towards the future challenge's goal of 5 pull-ups. 10 Quote Assassin in trainingMy Current Challenge Days without soda 64.3%64.3% Jog three miles 50.0%50.0% Do.One.Freaking.Pull up. astronerd
Congrats!!! Major accomplishment! With all the training i do, i haven't been able to do one successfully!!! Major credits given!!! Thanks! Admittedly, I haven't gotten another in since that one on Saturday. My muscles gave everything for that one and will take a little longer than just the normal 48 hours to recover I think. I could do some lat pull-downs today but my muscles weren't happy about it. As a teenager I got up to about 5 in a row for the fitness merit badge in the Boy Scouts. But that was almost half a lifetime ago. The memory is there, but the capability is regrowing.
