Grimspark
Today was the first time I have been able to RUN around the back yard with my son... ever. In the two and a half years he's been here I haven't had the energy or ability to run around and chase him and all the awesome father/son backyard stuff. We played ball in the yard today and I actually was able to run around after the ball and, even better, I WANTED to! We had so much fun and, to be honest, it made me a little teary-eyed. This is what it's all about. Quote "A hero or a hooligan, well, that part's never clear." Link to comment

wildross
Truly neat. (uninvited philosophizing follows) I don't know how you were with your father, but I know my sons liked seeing Dad do awesome things. Boys want to be around men. Men do physical things (assuming they are not injured, disabled). Sons want a dad to challenge them and against which they can measure themselves. Quote Warriors don't count reps and sets.
