Rpage1977
Just a quick update, since I haven't been on the forums in a while.I am on deployment, floating around in the Middle East. On ship, I switch to a Paleo (plus) life. Or as close to it as I can get with the Navy trying to fry, cover in sauces, and boil the taste out of everything.Final Status: Lost 36 pounds in two months, and have kept it off for 2 months. Completed the Spartan Warrior Workout (actors from 300 did the final test in 18:11, my time was 16:22)Ran a 5k in 24:53, and have lost so many inches, that most of my command doesn't recognize me.My next goal is to get my Crossfit Level 1 instructor certification within 6 months of me getting home from this deployment (still have a few months to go).Y'all take care.-RPage1977www.fatmantobatman.wordpress.com 1 Quote Lv 2 Human AssassinStr:4Dex:3Sta:2Con:1Wis:2Cha:0Motto: "Don't give up yet...You've still got a couple of M*therf*ckers to prove wrong!"Previous Challenge:Challenge 1: Ryan's Quest for Inner Peace Website: Fat-Man to Batman Link to comment
Manarelle
Congrats! Even more so for doing it in hard mode, out to sea. Hang in there, come home safe, and keep being amazing. thist514
Wow, way to overcome adversity. I know you'll kill your instructors test when you come home. If you can accomplish your goals at sea while serving you should have no problem when you're operating from your home base. GL Quote Thist Level 1 Human Assassin Warrior Ranger? Rpage1977
Thanks y'all...I appreciate the words of encouragement. Status update: I have put on some pounds, because I fell out of the top rack (bunk beds). I ended up Hyper-extending the tendons on the top of my big toe, and the medical staff advised me to take off a week or two... I should be good to go, going to try to do rows and KB stuff tonight...and if I'm feeling good, tomorrow, I'm doing some Spartan Race stuff. Also, another goal is to run the Trifecta for Spartan Racing next year.
