Trizza Posted April 27, 2015 Report Share Posted April 27, 2015 In 2003 I ran a small competition 5K and was pushed by some strong runners to test my limits. I ran a 5K of 23:09 that day and have come close and even potentially surpassed it (Ran a 44:30 10K just a few years ago), but never officially on the score card. Yesterday I ran a 5K in my town in preparation for my half marathon next month. Again this was a small field and I broke out with the leaders early on, but made sure to use my watch to keep my pace somewhere I could maintain. I finished with a time of 22:09 knowing I had done the best my body could do yesterday with the training I had done so far this year.
