Harbard Posted April 29, 2015 Report Share Posted April 29, 2015 So I'm not entirely new to lifting, but I was always afraid of Deads in the past. Lurking on this site gave me the courage to approach them as a fundamental instead of a frightening oddity. While it might mot be all that impressive for 193 lbs body weight, I hit a PR of 315 for 5 reps tonight. Even though it felt a little heavy by the fifth rep, the first three felt almost easy. If you had asked me three months ago, I would have told you there was no way I could DL 3 plates.
