Ashcan Pete
So, about me. 38, and I've spent most of this year above the magic 300 lb mark, for the first time in my life. As always, there are many reasons for this: sedentary, eat like crap, yadda yadda. But, improvements come. Just got back into a gym to lift some weights, have a 10K this weekend that I'll be mostly walking. Nothing showing up on the scale yet, but, as always, I feel a lot better for doing it. Next up, diet improvements. I must learn to ignore the free bag of mini-reeses in the freezer at work and reintroduce myself to a greens and meats-based diet. So, that's it. Hi. Quote Link to comment
Basement Cat
Welcome, Dyno! Good luck on the 10K! Even if you walk it, that's better than not doing it at all! Ashcan Pete
Thanks for the welcome. Turns out I can run a 10K completely unprepared. Yet to be determined is how badly I'm going to pay for it. Quote Link to comment
