djay80 Posted May 22, 2015 Report Share Posted May 22, 2015 I've always wanted a secret handshake...jk Long time fitness fan here but the last two years have been pretty rough. I won't tell the whole story but a few years ago I was 50 pounds lighter and ran in a Spartan Race, a few triathlons, and some fun running races. Longest was a 1/2 marathon. Then a turn of events that began with me getting Valley Fever and most recently selling my house and quitting my job so I can begin a web development bootcamp (it begins June 22nd!!!), I just haven't been able to focus on fitness or my health as much as I'd like. I'm not saying I didn't have the time, it's just that's not where my focus was best served at the time and now I need to get back! I recently started weights/bodyweights/running again, and although I'm beginning (very) slow, I can't wait to see what I can do when I'm focused! So while searching for a good bodyweight workout, I found Nerd Fitness and man it looks like my kind of place! Can't wait to get more involved and get to know other nerds interested in fitness like I am! 1 Quote Link to comment
