Sarad Posted June 1, 2015 Report Share Posted June 1, 2015 I'm not entirely new to NF, but this is sort of a new experience for me. I'm unhealthy in an average way, I guess, overweight some and way too addicted to dessert. I want to feel better about myself and about my diet and body, and I'd prefer not to drag myself on one fad diet after another. I mix my love of the original trilogy of Star Wars with an interest in quilting by the English paper piecing method and I like to spend sunny days skimming across any body of water in my kayak, an 9' Potomac Vortex. I hate running, though the rest of my family are a pack of track and cross-country runners. I"d love to find a way to enjoy running like they do, but I'd rather build up my endurance and strength so I can indulge in weekend hiking trips or kayaking/camping weeks. And rock climbing. I want to do that expert wall and hit the bell. So, I'd guess my introductory goal is to feel happier about myself. And that means I've got some work to do. 1 Quote Link to comment
