Pat G
Struggling man... I thought I'd be up to 75 for reps by now. Only just made the last 5 with a lot of gasping and squirming. Quote "Strength is the cup. The bigger the cup, the more you can put in" - JDanger Link to comment

Pat G
Been swimming 3x a week for the past 2 weeks now. Tues Thurs Sat mornings. Started off aiming to get 500m out in 50s. Worked it up to 500m in 100s. Next week i'll add another 100m on to the swim, and will try to do so for the next 5 weeks, get it up to 1k each session. Otherwise, i've been doing baby weighted pullovers, so 14kgs of unbalanced weight. random sets throughout the day. Quote "Strength is the cup. Pat G
Swimming sessions have been extended out to 1000m per session in 200m sets. Chins are at 2x4 then 3x3 in one session. Slowly slowly. If I can do a set of 10 by challenge end I'll be chuffed. Morning miles and daily planks all happening. Quote "Strength is the cup. Lachy
The swimming is really coming along, eh? I can barely complete 100m! Have you gone for a max effort on the chins yet, or will you wait 'till the end of the challenge for that? I reckon you should make it to 10 easily. Still barefoot for the morning miles? Pat G
not dead. just busy. Swimming: 1km x3 per week. each session usually completed under 20m these days. Going to look at a squat rack and bench a friend of a friend has for sale. Also have been given the $80 for one months membership at the powerlifting gym as a Xmas present. Lachy
I used to pay more than that at my commercial gym, and believe others pay even more than I did. For a well equipped gym in Australia, $80 is good value. 24hr gyms are cheaper, but you definitely get what you pay for. Quote Battle Log - Facebook Link to comment
aj_rock
Oi, I couldn't imagine paying more than ... half what you pay!No seriously, $40 is my limit Quote Why must I put a name on the foods I choose to eat and how I choose to eat them? Lachy
Everything here is double what you pay. Cars, electronics, books, any service, hotels, drinks, you name it. It's called the Australia Tax. Whatever you do, don't look at our house prices! Quote Battle Log - Facebook Link to comment
Pat G
Haha. I'm more used to paying around 60 per month for gym. Lachy is describing the rot evolving in our cities. Quote "Strength is the cup. The bigger the cup, the more you can put in" - JDanger Link to comment
aj_rock
How much of the Australia tax goes towards fending off ravenous, monstrous insects? be honest now. Moved an upright piano from a home to rhetoric stage at church. translation: 4x100kg dl. 4x60 cleans/upright rows.
