Bench:

Was shooting for my challenge goal of 1x120kg, no spotter, stopped

3x5x85kg

Rows

By the by, started doing penlay rows now i'm using the bigger 20kg plates.

*** they weren't... left arm only had a 12.5kg dumbell which caused some initial worry when my right arm fatigued quicker hahaha.

Hmmm was tempted to call wimp ... but the biggest weight I've roll 'o shame'd was 95KG, and I'm thinking 120KG might be a different propsition.

For shame though! The knee pain was not mentioned in our discussions :P

Why must I put a name on the foods I choose to eat and how I choose to eat them? Rather than tell people that I eat according to someone else's arbitrary rules, I'd rather just tell them, I eat healthy. And no, my diet does not have a name.My daily battle log!

It seems i have been slightly foolish in my training.

The soreness from last week combined with showing up a gym gorilla today in the rack = major Payne.

I think that, when I first read it, I saw it more as 'been and done', not 'current and affecting training'.

All the same, depending on how that MRI comes out, training will need to change drastically :(

Shhh, I'm going to ignore it and it'll go away. I hate eating time at the doctors... Like right now,i could be working, or training, or eating or typing this in a PC. But I'm spering in a room full of peoplewaiting for my name to be called.

MRI booked for Friday afternoon.

Doctors orders, no strain to be placed on the legs for the interim.

Time to build up pulling and core strength.

Lat pulldowns pyramids starting at 45 to 75.

Chins 5 sets of 3

Bench 5x60, 4x87.5, 3x5x80

reverse crunches Hanging leg raises

Haha cheers fellas. Only squeezed them out with the spare energy from no squats deadlifts.

W aroundandered like a sheep for the rest if my time there, lost without my squat.

I know how you feel mate. Still feeling the AC strain myself so DL's were a no go.

Alluva sudden, in and out of gym in 30 minutes. Feels so empty...

Visited a couple of gyms in the area immediately around my office. One was old school with aged lifting equipment, 2x squat racks, a 2 minute walk from the office, serviceable but i didn't notice hayuge stacks of plates that will be needed when i finally get my tank on.

2nd was a type of chain gym "World Gym" well equipped, newer, cleaner, more expensive by around $400 a year, 2x power cages, 2x squat racks. Lots of weights.

Both had similar rules, no fighting (necessary for this part of town), no dropping weights, no leaving weights unracked.

We shall see.

Oh yeah, the reason for this scouting event was due to our Corporate gym memberships being cancelled due to non payment of the account. hahaha.

Neither of them were busy when we were there. From that one experience, much of the much. But i'm not even sure if the company will go for either of them, even with both these gyms being cheaper than the one we were subscribed to before.

I've been given a new lease of life. Scans came back showing no damage to my knee at all. A loose patella due to prior injury. So, where is the pain coming from? *shrugs* i dunno, DR doesn't know either. So meds and R&R for the next 10 days. light strengthening exercises allowed.

The only training i've been doing the past couple of days are:

- One legged pushups, random sets throughout the day and house and office.

- Stairs, stopped using the elevator here at work.

and thats it.

Got a half decent upper body set in last night

BENCH:

@50kgs: 10, 10, 10

@82.5kgs: 8, 6, 5, 5

ROWS:

@40kgs: 10, 10, 10

@65kgs: 7, 6, 5, 5

i feel better now.
