JPrev
Great job on the progress! You clearly have some good habits and discipline. Fat comes off when you consume fewer calories than you burn. As you lose weight, the amount of calories you burn decreases because a lighter body requires less energy to move. If everything else remains the same - you eat the same amount of stuff and keep the same activity level - that means the difference between what you burn and what you consume becomes less and less. Eventually, that might mean you stop losing fat entirely. If you've been dieting for a long time and are pretty lean already, your body may have further adapted to reduce what it burns. So, to keep losing fat, you might need to once again reduce what you're eating. You could also try increasing your activity level, but generally it's harder to burn calories than it is to avoid eating them in the first place. 3 Quote Link to comment
SinnahSaint
Also, muscle weighs more than fat so it's possible for your body composition to change while your weight remains steady. Have you taken measurements? Are you loosing or gaining inches? Do you know your body fat percentage? Do you feel healthier or less healthy? 2 Quote Sinnah Saint, half-elf, lvl1 Assassin - STR 3 | DEX 2 | STA 1.86 | CON 2.86 | WIS 2 | CHA 1.38 - Personal BlogFirst 6-Week Challenge Link to comment
ItBegins
Way to go!!One thing I have heard great rants about is hiit cardio. Its interval training. Where you jog for x amount of time, we will say 3 mins, then sprint fast as you can for a minute.do that rotation for 15 mins. Do that for your cardio. The body adapts well. You can do this, comrade! 1 Quote Link to comment
