Pwnophodon
Hey all, I stumbled upon this site recently. I decided to join the forums for some motivation. Here's my story: Growing up I was always in shape. I ran cross country, I play baseball and was always riding my bike. 4 Years ago I took a job as a Help Desk Technician and broke into the IT field. Well, that's where my problems started. I've always been a gamer, however with my new sedentary lifestyle I packed on a whopping 100lbs in 4 years. I have lost 15lbs already, in the past 6 months. (Really not a big loss in that amount of time.) With the 100lbs came hypertension. I have a stressful job, working in IT tends to be pretty stressful. My body aches, I get migraines almost everyday (weight/blood pressure) and I'm just sick of it. I hate being tired all the time, and I hate feeling awful. So I guess I begin my quest here, and now. Lachy
Welcome! Hey, look at it this way, 100lbs in 4 years is 25lbs a year. If you keep up your progress of 15lbs in 6 months, then you're droping 30lbs a year. It's coming off faster than it went on! But with a little more effort and a few changes you can speed that up even more. Glad you've made the decision to change. Quote Battle Log - Facebook Link to comment
