CrimsonTide2006 Posted December 30, 2015 Report Share Posted December 30, 2015 This may seem silly but in 28 years I had never pet/touched a dog. I am scarred to death of them.; I am convinced they want to kill me...My parents told me that when I was born my dad bought a stuffed dog & put it beside me & I cried...he took it out from where I was & I was ok, then my mom tried to introduce it to me again & I cried..lol Dogs scare the heck out of me with their barking & jumping around...too hyper for me, I love cats. Cats are calm & have a "dont care" attitude, I like that. For about a year this neighbors dog would come by ever so often...shes sweet but I have always been afraid of her. Shes a black collie/retriever mix. One day though I got close to her, then got scarred & went back inside....the next time she came I got closer & she laid down...& I pet her. after a while I got really calm & ok with her, shes a nice dog....though I rather her just sit & not try to jump on me. I probably will still be afraid of all other dogs. lol 2 Quote Link to comment
