wildross
Thanks to Bigm and Corey, I had to try it. 315# on the bar, up and down. And I am NOT jumping to 405# in a week like Corey....Will add the video laterEdit; Oh, yeah, I did 5x2 at 295# on the squat before that. PR. Quote Warriors don't count reps and sets. They count tons. Gainsdalf the Whey
Congrats! Officially deadlifting as much as you bench? (never thought I'd ask anyone that...)What kind of grip did you use?And I did not jump 90lb in a week. I'm not nuts! (Yes I am, I'm going to attempt 455lb next week) My 1 rep max back in December was 365lb and my 1x5 regular grip working set was 315lb last week. I'll tell you what, mixed grip does wonders. 67alecto
My PR is a 10 plate lift...4 45s, 2 35s, 2 10s, 2 5s. My gym doesn't have any platforms, so the lowest pin the cage I can only safely load 2 45s on each side - after that, I need to load from the floor (which is that industrial carpet and doesn't let you slide the plates on). wildross
Lol. That's good. Both the cats and the hierarchy. I have a friend who says "age and treachery will beat youth and exuberance every time". He's older than me of course.I think it is what you call a mixed grip. Left overhand, right underhand. I can see chalk in my future because I can feel my hands sliding along the bar. Quote Warriors don't count reps and sets. They count tons.
