Good!

Is anything changing?

Are you walking greater distances, or faster, or feeling better after a walk?

@Evicious two more walks again today. My favourite part is the nature, seeing the dogs so happy and coming home feeling refreshed. :)

 

@Igaduma hello thanks for dropping by!! Im walking further yes, this evenings walk was 45 minutes, im walking quickly as well, and my head definitely feels fresher and clearer when i get home. 

 

I had some cake today (i made a lemon cake) so i made the conscious decision to walk further. 

 

Dinner tonight will be a big salad and lots of water!

do you have a goal you want to reach?  A certain dinstance you want to be able to walk? (if you said that earlier, sorry, I must confess to not have read the entire thread)

Ive not actually said a goal...but i want to be able to run 3km. thats my first, small goal!! So i will walk it and just keep trying to beat my time by bringing in running/jogging...

 

Im at my parents at the moment dog sitting, but i go home on friday and will join the gym. (i wont run outside yet im too ashamed) ill use the treadmill till i lose weight.

funny, that's the reason I didn't run at the gym.  And ofcourse the gym isn't open when I go running (early in the morning)

 

btw: running and walking are two very different things.  Don't assume that because you can walk a certain distance, you'll be able to run a certain distance.

Hey Alexis.

 

I can totally relate to the alcohol problem. I tend to go on binges that strain my finances. I also have problems with tobacco. One way I have to fight cravings is just to start doing some exercises like sit ups/push ups/other to distract myself.

 

For the running, how far from work do you live? Could you run all the way there? Or take the bus partway? Needing to get somewhere is a great motivator, and it also allows you to zone out once you know your route.
