hrm... I don't really know. I've been trying since November to workout consistently (including doing a full pull up again), but I lost all motivation at some point twice along the way and stopped working out altogether. It's hard to say. Off and on, I'd say it's been about five months.

Two important questions to ask yourself every week:

Did I run faster and farther this week than I did last week?

Can I lift more weight and do more repetitions that I did last week?

XD thanks for the kind words everybody.

Book, good suggestion, I should mix up my pullups and do wide grip, or chins or something.

And everybody with their goals, just don't give up! Like WhiteVandal suggested, the negatives really helped me. Also, just practicing A LOT (basically every time I walk by my hang-in-door-frame pull up bar I would make myself do a pull up (or attempt one, before I could do one).
