Not sure what I am doing. I cannot even remember if I did this when I joined 6 months ago....

 

So here it goes again. 

 

Hello Everyone - my name is Trampas Marcel. I am married father of 6. I am 41 years old soon to be 42. I decided on my 40th birthday that I would make my 40's my healthiest decade yet! I was an active kid, teenager and young man. But at age 25 I got my first "real" job followed shortly after by meeting my wife and getting engaged. Needless to say the pace of a starting a new family and jumping into a new career to provide for said new family, "ME" took a back seat. I stopped working out, started working long hours and any time not sleeping or working was devoted to my family. That theme would carry on for the next 15 years. About 2 years ago I slowly limped into the Primal/Paleo lifestyle. I really understood the science behind it and the information made sense. But old habits die hard. Then as I stated when starting this intro that when I turned turned 40 I decided to make a true lifestyle change. I was looking for a work out program that supported my new found eating habits because knew the missing piece to my puzzle was exercise / movement. With the size of my family, going to a gym has been pretty tough so I needed a home work out program, introduce NerdFitness. I joined about 6 months ago. When I started I set a goal to lose 70 lbs. I started the journey at 241 and am currently weighing in at in between 200-203. 

 

I picked the Ranger class as it most closely resembled my fitness goals of building functional strength. 

 

Excited to be here. Although I am versed in the quest and leveling up and have not spent much time in the community and challenges so am using this as my next level up. Looking for any suggestions and feedback on how to navigate the forums and challenges?
