I thought we had all of our paperwork in order, but then I find out that my state-issued ID card is not acceptable ID, and they accept a drivers license only. Which is ridiculous, given that the ID card and driver's license requirements differ only in taking a driving test. I never bothered as I prefer bus/bike/walking. Reading up on their website it does say I can have someone come as an identifying witness, but the lady at the agency rejected my wife as a valid witness because she had no proof she's known me for 2 years or more.So now due to a bureaucratic power trip I need to find all sorts of alternate ID I don't have within a week or I basically won't get to go on my honeymoon and will be out thousands of dollars. One of the things I need is a high school yearbook, which I don't have and have not been in touch with anyone from high school in a decade or so. I almost never get upset, about anything really, but this had me so frustrated that I could barely sleep, and I'm still fuming. I'm sure it'll work out just fine, it just makes no sense to me. I take two full weeks off, no pain, and get 2 miles into a 3 miler and it's locked up again. Some people just can't make a balance between their work and a relationship. Some people are takers and not givers. 3) More fire for me to start up personal training and to get my writing going.
