Top 5 of all time? 0.o That's tough.

#1 Castlevania: Symphony of the Night without question. Love it as much as I ever did when it was new.

The rest in no particular order:

Demon's Souls

Silent Hill (the 1st one)

Final Fantasy (any really but with a preference toward 3 & 9)

Tekken Tag

Aaaaand Bust a Groove! Because I loved it so much I feel bad leaving it off the list even though it makes 6. >.< (The rhythm game, predecessor to DDR not to be mistaken with Bust a Move)

1) Civilization IV - I had to pick one, I've played them all A LOT and still play V regularly. Thus far I probably liked IV the best. The depth of the system was amazing. V is close, but the AI blows on the battlefield, in previous editions the AI could field a gigantic armyto make up for its lack of tactical prowess, tactics are much more important in V.

2) Super Mario 3 - My goodness I wasted a lot of my childhood playing this game.

3) Goldeneye - My goodness I wasted a lot of my college years playing this game.

4) Mario 64 - This was really the first fully immersive 3D game that was good. Oh I loved this game, it went so well with 420.

5) Transportation Tycoon/Open TTD - Same game really, I still play it to this day when Civ gets boring. Something about this game never gets old to me, it is like farmville with a well worked out economy and (at least in the case of Open TTD) a comically big map. Open TTD has kept this game alive almost 20 years after its release.

Edit - Good call on the HM's....

River City Ransom

Mariocart 64

Rogue Squadron III - Rebel Strike

Dawn of Discovery (Anno 1404)

TMNT 2

SM's Railroads!

New Tetris

Great thread! I'm going more series of games than specific games, but I see a few others have done that too. Here is my list:

1. Legend of Zelda- I love all of the games. Every.Single.One.

2. Portal - LOVE. I always want more. Does anything else really need to be said?

3. Assassin's Creed- I've only played the first 3, but I always get totally engrossed.

4. Prince of Persia- Fantastic games.

5. Okami - This was so fun to play, and visually it was fantastic.
