Progress!

Recommended Posts

This morning was the 4th time I did my Start-of-the-week Fit Test, doing each exercise AMRAP in 4 minutes. My scores are all over the place, but even though there isn't much change in the numbers overall, my form has gotten miles better ever since I started doing 1-2 min planks daily, and bodyweight squats with knee pushups on off days, so I'm stoked!

Fit Test Results: (Feb 27/March 5/March 11/March 26)

Deadlift: 12kg backpack, 44/13kg, 65/13kg, 57/13kg, 53

Seated Pullup + Inverse Rows: 10 + 33 legs bent/7 + 35 legs bent/14 + 31 legs bent/16 + 9 legs straight

Squat: 12kg backpack, 60/13kg, 52/13kg, 40/13kh, 56

Pushup: 50 on knees/10 + 35 on knees/10 + 30 on knees/14 + 22 on knees

Pseudo-Dip station knee raises: 58/14 + 35 on mat/22 + 23 on mat/60

My Skill Day has also been leveling up. =) The first time it took me 41:58 to do the circuit in 5 rounds, and last week I finished it in 34:15 even with added reps per round!

Skill Workout: (Feb 29 vs March 21)

1-legged Deadlift 13kg: 10 --> 12

Assisted 1-arm Pushup: 5 --> 5 (gonna do 6 next Wed!)

Assisted Pistol Squat: 5 --> 5 (ditto)

1-arm Bent over row 13kg: 10 --> 8 (lower reps, better form)

Side Plank Leg Raises: 10 --> 12

Shazam. My arms are getting pretty cut, too. =) Which bodes well if I plan on cosplaying Korra again over the summer...

At any rate, NF has been a huge help in this. Even though I don't post much, I've learned a ton just lurking on threads where others are going through the same problems. You guys really rock.

Train hard. Drink tea.
