"You want me to do WHAT?" Push ups 2/12-3/4

Hello! And welcome to a..push-up_challenge.jpg

 

That's right! We're locked, we're loaded, and we're ready to feel those biceps burn!!

 

How many push-ups can you do in one go? 

10?

20?

75? 

What kind of push-ups can you do?

Standard?

Diamond?

Knee?

All answers are good answers! 

Take a couple minutes now and try some, I'll wait...

 

 

Did you do it? If so AWESOME! If not, that's ok too! 

THE CHALLENGE! Here it is folks: 

TWO AMRAP push-up sets a week! 

Thats it! Check in after each set with your number! No shame, just motivation and encouragement! 

 

"But Captain," you might say "I can't even do one push-up"

 

Totally Cool!

 

Drop those knees and get that head bobbing!! 

 

At the the start of the challenge do your first AMRAP and post along with the type of push-ups you will be doing, if you enter and don't hit your two on any given week, we'll find you! 

 

If you DO hit your two every week you will be rewarded with memes in your inbox!

Totally worth it. I'm in. Will do my first AMRAP on Monday morning and let you know the results.

My last PR (done about a week ago) was 20, and I do standard pushups

During my beginner body weight workout, I did as many as I could get up to in one go instead of the ten and got....drumroll please.....15! haha

 

15 knee pushups

 

I did more in the other two circuits, but that doesn't count in the AMRAP I don't think.

 

But yay! That's more than I thought I'd get! :D

I meant I did additional ones, not more than 15 lol, sorry, how I worded it was confusing. The most I did was 15.

My AMRAP was 21 for Standard Pushups. I must add this was after my 5x5 Bench, so I was a little tired. Will keep posting on how things go

My workout involved doing 12 pushups, 12 pullups and running 200m, as many rounds as possible in 13 minutes.

So I made it through 12 normal pushups the first round and then 3 more normal pushups the second round but then the rest were knee pushups

If I didn't have to do pullups on top of it I probably would have made it past 15 normal pushups. SOOOOOO on Saturday I will add an AMRAP pushups after my scheduled workout.
