BadWolf
If money were no object and I could take my whole family with me THEN either Maine near the coast perhaps or somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. I live on the east coast. I like being near water... Quote Current 6 Week Challenge Link to comment
Gainsdalf the Whey
I travel for work now and again and my favorite places are Hawaii, San Diego, and Florida. Hawaii is a bit expensive and a pain to travel to/from, but is basically paradise. San Diego is between 65-85 for almost the entire year, is super clean, and right on the coast. Florida gets hot in the summer, but you don't have to deal with any cold, which I hate. Tashabear
About 25 miles west of where I am now, in Central Massachusetts. Portland, Maine, would be nice, too -- there's an awesome, artsy vibe that I love. But I don't want to leave my dojo, so MA it is. I was born here, I grew up here, this is where all the people live that I love best. Quote Link to comment
KAllen
I'd choose NOLA. New Orleans, LA to you foreigners (anybody outside LA). It's the only city that has a soul that really reaches out and grabs me. Coolest history. Lots of interesting stuff. Good museums(WWII, Confederate). It's haunted beyond all get out. Oh yeah....there is Mardi Gras too!!! Food kicks ass. Also being a lifelong Who Dat, my beloved Saints are there. (yeah the same Saints being screwed by Commish Gotohell...if this happend to the Pats nothing would happen). 1/4 of the greatest Heavy Metal band in history...Pantera...is from NOLA(Phil Anselmo). The most awesome haunted house...House of Shock. Did I mention Mardi Gras??? Halloween is totally awesome there too. One of the few cities I could visit over and over and over. NorthFloridaNinja
I've lived in Florida all my life. I would die off in the cold weather. But, for a change of scenery, I've always thought the Southwest was pretty cool. Vegas would probably be the ideal spot, since it seems almost as crazy as Florida. Quote Link to comment
Teneris
I'd love to live in New York, but overall I think somewhere in California would be better for me. Most major U.S. based conventions are on the west coast, and I really would like to go to PAX and for it to be actually convenient. Quote Link to comment
