  2. So, as it's the strength feat this week, I'm going to be doing the first 6 days of this push-up challenge: http://darebee.com/challenges/pushup-ladder-challenge.html, followed by trying to set a push-up 1 set PR on day 7.

  8. In for Team Iron Man Strength Feat: Altnerate daily push-ups/punches. Try for a PR on the final day. Agility Feat: Two home yoga videos in the week. Stamina Feat: At least one swim of 2k+ Ranger Class Feat: Go on a long hike/adventure walk EDIT: Just so I'm clear, each feat is on a different week, and the week orders are randomised, right?
  9. Day 1 is upon us! I got up on time(ish) this morning, brushed teeth and went swimming. Did 1km in 26 minutes (including rests & stretching), which ain't quick but it's woken me up. It's half 12 here now, and I've only had two cigarettes so far, about to have number 3. Tonight gym (think my arse muscles have just about recovered from lunges on Saturday) and will fit in some Duolingo. First proper update to come tomorrow after I have a day complete.

  15. Excellent, I'm glad :). Side effect of being English; for some reason we can't just pick one unit and stick to it! Even my gym has half the weights in metric and half in imperial...

  21. So when I was about 11 a game came out that I absolutely loved. I played it incessantly. Relentlessly. Perpetually (well nearly). That game was: One of the biggest things I remember about this game was getting really worked up about preparing for the final boss of Act I, Andariel So this month I plan to do all that preparation to get my self stronger, healthier and to look better naked. Poison Resistance Andariel deals a shit-ton of poison damage, so I need to resist poison at all costs. This is probably the biggest deal for me, because it's been something I've been avoiding for quite a while. Smoking - 15XP - maximum 8 cigarettes a day on work days (around half what I currently smoke). No set amount for weekend, but keep count of all of them so I know where I need to go next. [EDIT]I will not smoke in my car if the journey is under 1 hour.[/EDIT] Am planning to cut down further and hopefully quit over the next few challenges. Grinding I always wanted to be lvl 16 before I took on Andariel, which meant lots of grinding to level up, and replaying old bosses (especially The Countess) Gym & Badminton - 10XP - Gym 2 x per week, Badminton as often as I can get it booked in. (Bonus 5 XP for 12 or more gym sessions during the challenge) Swim - 15XP - Swim at least 3 x per week. I was only one short of this last month, which was deeply annoying! (Bonus 3XP for any week with 5 swims (can be cumulative)) Learn a New Skill The reason to get to lvl 16 before facing Andariel was that you unlock a whole set of new skills at that point. French - 10XP - Minimum 350 Duolingo XP each week. Read one article online in French every week. Full Health Because you don't face a boss without going in with full health, right? Teeth - 15XP - Brush teeth 2 x per day every day, use electric brush and floss at least 7 x per week. Sleep - 15XP - In bed by 11pm every night or within an hour of getting home, whichever is later. I tried this a couple of challenges ago, but on my non-11pm days I was going to bed at 1-2am, so I didn't really get the benefit. Save Your Progress Becuase none of the above counts in you lose that save file! Update - 10XP - Update this thread daily with my progress. I did this in my battle log last month, but think I would rather keep everything together this time around A bit of housekeeping: I'll be running this challenge from Monday, because my mind can't cope with starting a challenge on a Sunday! Weights and measures may be in metric, UK imperial or US imperial, depending on my mood, the weather and the colour of my socks
  22. Crunches done; no EC because my abs are rubbish. One day I will get EC on an ab related challenge!
