A question about sex and fitness...

If there are women reading this who want to try this with their man, squats are good for building that thigh strength you'll need to maintain balance while, um, "dancing". After all, you're not hanging there like a dead weight, you have to remain in the proper position for good things to happen, yeah?

Ok I'm setting up a new training plan asap!

Deadifts and squats check. Now what other exercises should I ad for which positions? Since I'm female should I then switch out the deadlifts for something else?

This is a highly entertaining AND educational thread. Steve should make a workout with this aim next time - it proapably wouldn't face any motivational problems? - other than overtraining ;)

To the op. As the others have said I don't imagine this will be the most enjoyable posotion for her. You might impress her! But be prepared to have some back-up moves. Your dancing seems much better off hand.

I'm of the opinion that all women should deadlift...heck, all people should deadlift, regardless of sex! It works the butt, thighs, and core...want a sexy butt and great looking thighs? Deadlift and squat.

I say keep the deadlifts, besides the sexy butt that it will give, you might be able to reverse that position. Hold your man up while he hangs from your neck and help him... ummm... get in position. Hey, who knows, it could work. Though I'm not gonna try it, I'd be too scared of a girl that could hang me from her neck. Haha

I'm so up for Steve's workout plan. I second this.

Deadlifts, squats, and a trip to your local bookstore to pick up a gift copy of Fifty Shades of Grey--two copies so you guys can discuss. Some yoga to increase flexibility and a good bit of focused core work wouldn't hurt either.

And for the record, the suggestion of using a wall to brace her is a solid one. :encouragement:

if you do 5x5... you might last 5 or maybe 6 seconds... which for some guys might be ideal... hey, i haven't been getting a lot of sleep lately... most people want viagra... i want something that will shorten my drive... so i can get some sleep... :)

FANTASTIC thread! Made my morning!

OP - Another option for building endurance... Once you are dating...try it with her in the bathroom. She sits on the counter, you pick her up, do your thing and switch back to sitting back on the counter before you've maxed your legs out.

Key here IMO- FUN and Play. Fun and mutual laughter and acknowledging the awkward transitions, releases all that extra tension that makes happy endings difficult for some. Just another .02 but there's no need to be super Rico Suave when trying new positions.

Since improving my sex life is the prime motivator in my quest for fitness, I must say that I have enjoyed this thread.

I'm with ya Josh. Realizing I couldn't keep up like I used to was my motivator to start working on endurance exercises again a few months ago. Of course I want to be healthy and fight diseases but damn it I'm gonna be having a rocking time while I do.
