It's a decent-sized place, but we were really hoping for an extra bedroom to stick our library in. Alas, this was not to be.However, our master bedroom a) is huge, and has a long (17.5') wall with no doors or windows. A plan was formulated.And now, the Bookshelf of Doom has been installed, and loaded with our books. I mostly wrangled the kids while he built, but I did get to use the miter saw to cut the shelf pieces. I was originally planning to paint our room that color, but I decided it would probably be too overwhelming in the whole room. I love how it looks as an accent behind the shelves. Our bookshelf has always been a focal point in our living room (and I fill it with our smarty pants books and hide all the trade paperback fantasy & mystery novels in our bedroom).
