Lachy Posted August 17, 2012 Report Share Posted August 17, 2012 Its not unusual to feel it in your arms, you holding a big weight after all. I usually feel it more in my biceps though. DLs are a great exercise that use almost all of your muscles. Make sure your elbows are rotated inwards, not outwards, still have the overhand grip, just don't let your arms rotate so that your elbows are facing out to the side. Eventually the biggest places that you'll feel them is your lower back and trapezoids.
