kahn265
I'm thinking of switching from DailyPlate @ LiveStrong to something else that has an android app. So, it comes down to Fat Secret or MyFitnessPalWho uses what and what do you think? The main things I like about Daily Plate are1. Break down of Carb/Protein/Fat in percentage and grams of each2. Ability to add custom food (including #Calories/Grams of Protein/Fat/Carbs)3. Save Custom MealsWhat do you think of each tool?(Yes I know most people here use Daily Burn, but they don't have an Android app) Quote Link to comment

JaysFreaky
I've got a Fitbit that I carry around with me to count my steps and such.Granted, they don't have an app for Android/iPhone, but they do have a mobile site that works pretty well.http://m.fitbit.com Quote Link to comment

JediSi
I've been using MFP since i came home, seems to be pretty good to me. Spent the first couple of weeks cross checking entries in the database (because i'm a sucker for quality control) but it seems pretty accurate, Also dead easy to add your own items and recipes i found. Have also added you as a friend over there Quote Jedi Si: V2.0 - Valves by NHS. Courage, Determination, Cheerfulness in Adversity - It's a state of mind Link to comment
Minyla
Seems you already made your choice, but in case others are interested, I use FatSecret and like it a lot. When I was looking around for a good calorie counter about a year ago, FS had the most comprehensive food database of anything I tried. It was so nice to not have to manually enter so much because other members had already put it in the db. Quote Link to comment
