Terinatum
Hi All, I was wondering how to go about quoting a post without using the whole post? Help, thanks. The Way Better Now than Back Then Better Now than Later On Link to comment

msuroo
Not doing in in the cose causes unwanted deletions of format at times. This drove me crazy at first, but eventually you figure out what does and does't trigger it. Deleting or backspacing a chunk that includes the beginning of the quote = lost code. (Generally I'll just highlight everything up to the first couple characters, delete, and then backspace those last few one by one - this leaves the formatting intact.) Of course, I still switch back and forth to the code view too, depending on the post. Still don't love the new software... Challenge thread Link to comment

I-Jo
I didn't know the old stuff- but trying to edit quotes can be trick for shizzle. I hate when my little quote box goes away- and then I have to fix it. I LOVE the multiqoute format here- we have it on my other forums- but this version is by far my favorite. Link to comment
