I went back to work at the end of last summer as a preschool teacher. The cool thing is that I got to plant a vegetable/herb garden at my school with my pre-K class of 4 & 5 year olds. I have never had problems with ants in my home garden but my school garden has ants and one of the other teachers suggested spreading grits around the area. This will kill the ants. I haven't tried it yet though.
