It looks awesome!Amateur Boxing is really cool for that, all you have to do is start learning and working out in a boxing gym, show interest for fighting, anyone can do it, you are always matched at your level ! I got into it pretty much at the start of my adventure, a friend of mine had started boxing, and I said HEY why not.... Did a few sparring in the gym, trained alot, and a year later got my first fight...I have seen some people get a first one in 4 or 5 months. I just took the time to feel ready for it ! I always wanted a roman lorica segmentata for my larp events, and it was impossible before to have one unless it was hand crafted ($$$) and oversized. Being so close to my 150 pounds lost, I said $!"%" IT, I ordered a standard sized armor from an online retailer....it fits like a glove ! This saturday I am going for my 2nd fight, but my first ''official'' one with scoring, meaning I can win or lose. I will be doing the main event match (they start from light to heavy) and am really confident on my abilities. Heck I went for a week in Cuba, in an all inclusive, and trained every morning in the hot carribean sun. My weight has been dropping yet again, the lowest it has been is 263, but for the fight i will be closer to 268-270, but the weight loss process is going great. The numbers have not been dropping fast but the measurements are there. here are bonus pictures ! ferguson911 Posted May 5, 2014 Author Report Share Posted May 5, 2014 I'm back, sore shoulder, wrist is hanging on by a thread, sore nose, sore neck, feel like a truck hit me over......Yet i'm feeling wonderful from this week-ends fight. I lost from judges decision scorecard but I gave everything I possibly could during that fight. Proud of myself and know what I need to work on. Sadly there was some controversy as the organisation forced us to use 16 ox gloves instead of the usual 10...will be checking that out though (legality of it?). I was in the main event of the evening ! Tonight back to training even if I'm sore all over Here are some pics The second one being my opponent and I, at the bar having a cold beer (well earned).
