Ran 7km last week, barbell squats this week

At the beginning of the year, I could not run for more than 90 seconds. Now I can run 7km in 43 minutes!

At the beginning of the year, I could not do a bodyweight squat. Now I can squat a 63kg barbell! This is a couple of kilos more than I weigh, so I'm pretty pleased. I can also overhead press half of my bodyweight.

 

I'm looking forward now to running 10k in an hour, and 1 rep max testing with the barbells in two weeks. My trainer thinks my true max with the barbells is more like 73kg, so I want to get as close to that as I can. 

I'm working on my first chin up... I'm making slow progress. At first I could barely hang on to the bar. Now I can pull myself up around half way, even though I can't make it to the top.
